This tool lit is ideal for removing seized or stripped nuts that have proven to be irremovable with a wrench or other tool.

Unlike many other methods of removing a stuck nut, the nut splitter will cause no or very little damage to threads, saving the hassle of replacing the stud or bolt as well.

To split the nut, tighten the adjuster bolt until the nut splits. This may make the nut loose enough to remove, and if not repeat the process from the other side of the nut.
